Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

JobClarity AI is a job posting analysis platform that uses AI to classify job listings as LEGIT, GHOST, FAKE, OPTICS, or SUSPICIOUS. The Service also provides resume management, skills extraction, career planning, job matching, resume tailoring, and cover letter generation.

2. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts may be terminated.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access to the Service beyond normal use
• Reverse engineer the AI analysis or attempt to extract our models
• Upload malicious content, malware, or spam
• Misrepresent the source of job postings or reports
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose

4. AI-Generated Content

• Job verdicts are probability-based assessments, not guarantees. A LEGIT verdict does not guarantee the job is real or that you will be hired.
• Resume tailoring and cover letter generation produce AI-assisted content. You are responsible for reviewing and editing all generated content before use.
• Skills extraction and fit scoring are estimates based on text analysis. They may not perfectly reflect your qualifications.
• Always verify job postings and companies independently before applying.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• Early Access: All features are currently available for free during early access. Paid tiers may be introduced in the future.
• If paid tiers are introduced, subscriptions will be billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel at any time.
• Cancellation would take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
• We reserve the right to change pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified 30 days in advance.

6. Community Reports

When you submit a community report, you grant JobClarity AI a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use that report to improve our analysis accuracy. Reports are anonymized and used to train our pattern matching system.

7. Chrome Extension

The JobClarity AI Chrome extension reads job posting content from your active browser tab only when you explicitly click the extension button. It does not collect data in the background, track browsing history, or access any page without your action.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its AI models, analysis patterns, and user interface, is the property of JobClarity AI. Your content (resumes, job postings you paste) remains yours. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content.

9. Limitation of Liability

JobClarity AI is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed job opportunities, incorrect verdicts, or reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification.
